چکیده

The present study explores the solar-induced photocatalytic degradation of reactive red (RR) and turquoise (RT) dyes in a single system using TiO2 immobilized xanthan gum (TiO2/XG), synthesized sol–gel dip-coating technique for direct precipitation. SEM-EDX, XRD, FTIR, UV–Vis were used to assess characteristics resulting catalyst. Moreover, effects different operating parameters, specifically pH, dye concentration, TiO2/XG H2O2 contact time, also investigated batch reactor. catalyst showed slight adsorption efficiency then improved RR RT activity (92.5 90.8% 120 min) under solar light with remarkable Langmuir–Hinshelwood pseudo-first-order rate 0.0183 0.0151 min−1, respectively, optimum conditions pH 5, concentration 25 mg/L, 400 reaction time min. ability was ascribed impact nanoparticles high surface area, lower band gap energy. Solar energy has significant potential addressing deficit water pollution concerns.

Photocatalytic degradation of rhodamine B, and phenol red dyes using NiMn2O4 nanoparticles prepared by a new approach

NiMn2O4 nanoparticles have been successfully prepared through sol-gel method. The effects of different factors such as the type of solvent, and amino acid temperature were investigated on the size and morphologies of products. The smallest particle size of NiMn2O4 nanoparticles was found to be 25 nm in diameter. The magnetic properties of the samples were also measured by an alternating gradien...
